The real Sinestro

I've heard both current Green Lantern scribe Geoff Johns and artist Ethan van Sciver say that their take on Sinestro draws heavily on Adolf Hitler. But until today I had no idea that Gil Kane, who originally designed and drew Hal Jordan's arch nemesis, based the look of my second favourite super-villain, on David Niven. You learn something new (and pointless) every day.

Some crazy fella on Facebook has done a nice little photoshop of Niven as Sinestro...
