My ebay disgrace

So, I make a bit of money freelancing and it immediately goes on this...
Seal's getting cracked as soon as it arrives.
I now own Giant-Size #1!
Yeeeeeeeeeeees!

It's a sickness.

Drunk in charge of ebay

Not since the great Eagle disaster of 2007 has there been such an alcohol-fuelled blow out on ebay...
Yah, that's £117.62 on six X-Men comics. FFS!

To be fair they are in really nice condition, the seller looks like an honest sort and I am now just a few issues away from completing a run from 94-200.

£41 FOR #95 (Death of Thunderbird - spoilers, LOL) is actually pretty cheap. £20.50 for #100 (cents copy) is also quite reasonable.

But still, £117.62! Oh, strong imported lager, you are a cruel mistress.

The campest man in the Marvel Universe

Not that I'm obsessed with comic book lookalikes or anything, but from the 1985 Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition Handbook here's Forge as Freddie Mercury...

That's definitely a Mercury pose, although the jacket with no shirt and skimpy shorts might have been too camp a look even for Freddie.
