Brian Bolland Forbidden Planet bag

Going through some old scrapbooks of mine from the 80's I found this Forbidden Planet paper bag with the famous Brian Bolland designs on it. I wish they still used these.

One side advertises the old comic shop, the other the film and TV memorabilia shop. They were just around the corner from each other off Charing Cross Road, quite close to where the new FP megastore is nowadays.

I probably carried my Watchmen and Dark Knight home in this bag...aaaaahhhh.

Oh yes. Fine shop it was. Now a guitar shop I think. I bought a full run of Miracleman for peanuts there back in the day. Don't have it anymore, shame as it costs a bomb to buy now.

AAAAaah the sheer nostalgia of it all...
Alexi the Pegasi do you remember him Dom?
He strangely died... Hmmm...
And by the way Ben the shop down the urine stained avenue (Denmark Place) was called LTS and later Paradise alley.
Aaaah what sacred, truant memories...
